Chief Minister Revanth Reddy dropped bombshells at a Congress election rally in Mulugu district, accusing BRS of orchestrating a massive phone tapping operation to blackmail and plunder. The Sunday event spotlighted the party’s alleged 10-year scam spree.
Labeling BRS as a ‘blackmail machine,’ Reddy revealed how intercepted calls struck fear, yielding 1,500 crores illicitly for party funds and personal gains. KCR’s regime was painted as corrupt, birthing lavish TV networks and firms from public misery.
‘Businessmen like those linked to BJP’s Konda Visheshwar Reddy had phones hacked, forced to transfer wealth,’ Reddy stated. Targets included foes, press, courts, stars, and private spousal exchanges—no sanctity spared.
He grilled Centre’s G. Kishan Reddy: ‘Why no CBI for Kaleshwaram or Formula E? You’ve become KCR’s kin, shielding him, KTR, Harish while chasing Gandhis.’
Congress’s counter-narrative shone through: 4.5 lakh homes under Indiramma at 22,500 crores, 3,500 per constituency; urban funds totaling 17,442 crores, with Bhupalpalli’s 92 crores share. Districts stay intact pending consultations.
Reddy exhorted the masses: ‘BRS and BJP are conspirators—vote them out to safeguard democracy.’ KCR’s hypocrisy—grand projects for self, neglect for needy—contrasted sharply with Congress’s welfare push. The address rallied the base for municipal triumphs.
