Patna’s political corridors lit up as BJP National President Nitin Nabin, representing Bankipur, rejoined the Bihar Vidhan Sabha for the budget session on Tuesday. His address was a poignant mix of nostalgia, appreciation, and ambition for the state’s future.
Expressing disbelief at the turn of events, Nabin extended sincere gratitude to members for their respect. He vividly recalled the assembly’s teachings on navigating politics with grace. ‘Arriving with party views, we emerge as one for the people. The finesse of debate and decorum here is unparalleled,’ he noted.
He commended Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s pivotal role in elevating Bihar’s national standing. ‘Two decades of effort have rewritten our narrative,’ Nabin said. Drawing inspiration from PM Modi’s systemic respect and service mindset alongside Nitish’s governance excellence, he called for collective emulation.
To political newcomers, Nabin advised nurturing unbreakable public bonds. ‘You’ll succeed if remembered fondly long after you’re gone,’ he counseled. His dual experiences in power and opposition affirm the assembly’s enduring contribution to democracy in Bihar, the ‘mother of democracy.’
Despite his new responsibilities, Nabin reaffirmed his MLA duties for Bihar’s growth. Committed to Modi-Nitish leadership, he forecasted a resurgent Bihar. ‘Enhanced state image honors us all; India and Bihar will rise, reclaiming ancient prestige,’ he envisioned. His speech fostered bipartisan warmth, highlighting collaborative potential.
