Wednesday marks a landmark day for Uttar Pradesh as lawmakers receive the state’s most ambitious budget to date. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak described it as historic, primed to reinforce infrastructure sinews and resolve protracted project delays.
In insights shared, Pathak emphasized its grassroots impact, improving prospects for the impoverished while advancing the ‘Developed India’ mission. Electoral pledges are now backed by budgetary muscle, he affirmed.
Dismissing opposition rhetoric, Pathak stated they’ve run out of steam. ‘Their regressive outlook stalled UP; we’re accelerating toward modernity,’ he contrasted.
Finance Minister Suresh Khanna outlined beneficiary-focused schemes for women, farmers, youngsters, the needy, and toilers, coupled with aggressive capital spending for job genesis. ‘Rise above politics for this people’s budget,’ he implored foes, vouching for the Yogi regime’s impartiality.
Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh celebrated the allocations, highlighting tourism’s renaissance under Modi-Yogi since 2017. ‘This fiscal push embodies ongoing reform, vaulting UP to developmental pinnacles,’ he envisioned.
