Ghaziabad’s industrial heartland in Sahibabad Site-4 witnessed a terrifying fire engulf Chran Autotech and Bharat Oil factories on Monday noon, sparking widespread alarm. Fire alerts mobilized the department into high gear.
Two tenders dashed from Sahibabad, joined by three from Vaishali led by the Chief and Deputy Fire Officers. The sight was harrowing—raging inferno across both sites, black smoke rising ominously.
To match the blaze’s fury, reinforcements flooded in from Kotwali (three tenders), Modinagar (one), Loni (two), Hapur (one), and a Gautam Buddh Nagar tanker. Ten vehicles in total unleashed a barrage of water streams.
Manufacturing bike auto parts, Chran Autotech suffered roof collapse over parts inventory, worsened by plastic and packaging stockpiles. Bharat Oil’s spread was halted decisively at onset.
Through tireless multi-hour combat, flames were subdued completely. No injuries reported—a testament to efficiency—despite hefty material losses. Proximity threats to other factories and residences were neutralized.
Cause investigations proceed, as commendations flow to the fire teams for their exemplary vigilance and teamwork.
