A detailed CBRE report dropped Wednesday spotlights Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR’s iron grip on India’s AI jobs—over 50% combined, with Bengaluru solo at 25.4%.
Scrutinizing 64,500 active Naukri.com AI listings to December 2025, it ranks Delhi-NCR second (24.8%) and Mumbai third (19.2%), forming a trio that engulfs 70% of openings.
Dominant fields encompass software/QA engineering, data science, and front-end customer operations, proving AI’s business-wide embrace.
“India crafts AI code and charts its global rollout,” the report asserts, emphasizing strategic depth.
Office markets are booming accordingly: Bengaluru’s 26% leasing share drove 2025’s 82.6 million sq ft total, clinching over 33% of GCC activity.
Delhi-NCR’s appetite spans IT, fintech, consulting, healthcare, and public domains.
Anshuman Magazine, CBRE’s top exec for the region, noted: “AI demand reflects more than jobs—it’s global firms betting on India as an end-to-end innovator. This shift heralds a new era for India’s economy and its global digital role.”
With AI propelling urban growth and talent hubs, India’s tech metros are primed for exponential expansion.
