Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya, attributed Rahul Gandhi’s scathing critique of the AI Summit to sheer political frustration. In a pointed response to the Congress stalwart’s X post decrying the event as a messy PR exercise favoring data sales and Chinese displays over Indian innovation, Maurya spoke out in Lucknow.
‘Out of power, Rahul and Akhilesh can’t handle the progress,’ Maurya quipped to journalists. He spotlighted international acclaim for the summit, cementing India’s status as the AI world’s nerve center. PM Modi’s initiative promises enduring dividends, evident from the fully booked India Mandapam.
Maurya underscored the armed forces’ vigilance at borders and advocated for India’s vanguard role in all fields. The summit marks a pivotal stride in that direction.
Addressing Maharashtra’s quota overhaul removing 5% for Muslims, he said, ‘Haven’t seen details, but it’s praiseworthy if true. Aligns with Ambedkar’s constitutional vision against religious reservations.’ He applauded CM Fadnavis’s government for the progressive move.
