February 18, Lucknow: In a rousing speech to Samajwadi Party faithfuls from multiple districts, president Akhilesh Yadav spotlighted a BJP conspiracy aimed at discrediting PDA solidarity and breeding disunity among Uttar Pradesh’s youth. He portrayed this as symptomatic of BJP’s hostility toward democracy, secularism, and socialism.
At the party office, Yadav dissected the BJP’s playbook: relentless negative campaigning. ‘Don’t get distracted. Shun toxicity, fortify the organization,’ he directed the energized crowd.
Pledging allegiance to Lohia and Ambedkar’s legacies, he championed PDA as the antidote to status quo ills. ‘Team up seamlessly. These assembly elections are make-or-break – SP’s return to governance is imminent,’ Yadav proclaimed.
SP’s credo revolves around progressive development for farmers, underprivileged masses, and ambitious youth, he elaborated. He derided the ruling government’s barren record, accusing it of hijacking SP-era successes.
As political temperatures rise ahead of polls, Yadav’s message galvanizes the base, positioning SP to challenge BJP dominance through coalition strength and a positive vision.
