A landmark spiritual event unfolded at Sambhal’s Kalki Dham on Thursday during Kalki Sthapana Diwas, where Peethadheeshwar Acharya Pramod Krishnam was conferred the exalted ‘Jagatguru’ title. Mahant Ravindra Puri, President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad, personally honored him amidst a congregation of saints.
Saints from Anand Akhada and beyond celebrated with showers of petals and heartfelt prayers. Mahamandaleshwar Swami Balakand Giri declared the official nomenclature: Poojya Pad Jagatguru Poojya Swami Pramod Krishnam Bharti Ji Maharaj, etching the moment into spiritual history.
Grateful and modest, Acharya Pramod thanked the council leader, reiterating his lifelong vow: ‘I seek only to serve Sanatan Dharma, Shri Kalki Dham, and Lord Kalki for humanity’s welfare.’
The accolade caught him off guard; he confessed never envisioning such prestige for a simple devotee. Highlighting Mahant Puri’s inaugural visit, he apologized for inadequate hospitality.
This recognition amplifies Acharya Pramod’s influence, especially following his pointed remarks equating Congress’s Rahul Gandhi’s actions to separatist chaos in Kashmir. It reaffirms his dedication to safeguarding cultural and national integrity through spiritual leadership.
