Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai transformed his 62nd birthday into a platform for altruism, unveiling a blood donation initiative after invoking Lord Dhanvantari’s blessings. Amid cheers, he recognized 62 selfless donors mobilized by Alpha Globe Foundation, Raipur, and Shivnath Blood Center.
Labeling it ‘the supreme donation,’ Sai underscored its role in emergencies—accidents, maternities, critical ailments—where blood revives fading hopes. Practical perks included donor certificates for complimentary blood access, fortifying community support.
He rallied youth for at least one annual donation and unwavering road rule observance. Profuse thanks went to all involved—donors, planners, clinicians, health wing—for ensuring the event’s glory.
With ambitions to amass 11,000 blood units yearly and link with banks for free provisions, the group also rolled out traffic awareness drives, weaving safety into service.
Crowning the day, Sai graced Bagiya Balak Ashram in Jashpur. Kids’ excitement was palpable; he sliced cake collectively, probed their academics and dreams, fueling their ambitions with encouragement.
In tender gestures, he hand-fed cake and chocolates, patted heads with blessings: ‘Pour heart into studies, envision greatness, and elevate your family and Chhattisgarh.’ Their gleeful responses marked his birthday’s pinnacle gift, nurturing profound ties.
