Renowned industrialist Gautam Adani embraced his spiritual side with a visit to the hallowed Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlinga in Deoghar, Jharkhand, this Sunday. The temple, venerated as one of India’s 12 sacred abodes of Lord Shiva, witnessed a ritual of deep significance.
Greeted traditionally by tirtha purohits, Adani approached the inner sanctum to execute the Jalabhishek puja. Chants of sacred verses accompanied the offering of holy ablutions, creating an aura of divine serenity.
He subsequently engaged in contemplative prayer within the expansive temple grounds. To the press, Adani conveyed his joy at realizing a cherished dream. ‘Touching Baba’s feet has bestowed true peace upon me,’ he reflected.
His invocations called for Baba’s continuous blessings of peace, happiness, and affluence upon Jharkhand and all of India. Temple management affirmed his adherence to routine worship practices, much like any ardent follower.
Pilgrims numbering in the lakhs visit annually, affirming the site’s unparalleled spiritual magnetism. After darshan, Adani called on Godda’s BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, whose X post captured the gracious hosting.
