West Bengal’s political discourse heated up as TMC’s Kunal Ghosh openly questioned Congress’s commitment to defeating BJP. Targeting the state Congress president’s remarks, Ghosh sought answers on the invisible forces hindering their efforts.
Speaking candidly to journalists, Ghosh affirmed TMC’s primacy in the battle against BJP. ‘Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has outlined a foolproof strategy, ready for ground-level implementation without shortcuts,’ he stated.
Dismissing Congress’s narrative as politically obsolete, Ghosh showcased Banerjee’s repeated successes against BJP. He then launched into Congress’s national shortcomings.
‘Deliver official statements on your Maharashtra preparations, Delhi thrashing, and Haryana-Bihar setbacks,’ Ghosh urged.
He also faulted the style of Congress-led protests at the AI Impact Summit, emphasizing the need for strategic restraint to amplify impact. Citing the ugly scenes at Oxford involving Mamata Banerjee, Ghosh condemned such sabotage.
Ghosh’s pointed critique positions TMC as the unwavering vanguard against BJP, casting doubts on Congress’s viability in West Bengal’s high-stakes arena.
