The foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Center was held at Marine Drive (Kadma), Jamshedpur, in the gracious presence of Honorable President Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Honorable Governor Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Honorable Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, and Honorable Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. On this occasion, Honorable MP Shri Bidyut Baran Mahato, Honorable MLA Shri Saryu Rai, Honorable MLA Smt. Purnima Sahu, and other dignitaries were present. The Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Center will be operated by the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Charitable Center Trust. The program commenced with Vedic chants and rituals performed by religious priests. Honorable President Smt. Droupadi Murmu unveiled the plaque and laid the foundation stone for the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Center. On this occasion, Honorable MP Shri Bidyut Baran Mahato, Honorable MLA Shri Saryu Rai, Honorable MLA Smt. Purnima Sahu, and other dignitaries were present. The Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Center will be operated by the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Charitable Center Trust. The center, which will be built at an estimated cost of around 100 crore rupees, will be modeled after the Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha. Addressing the gathering, Honorable Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, exclaiming ‘Jai Jagannath,’ stated that there are undoubtedly many institutions worldwide that are established with different objectives and ideas. Through these institutions, we shape ourselves as well as human life. In this context, the foundation is being laid today for the establishment of a grand, vibrant center for social, spiritual, and cultural harmony. The Chief Minister remarked that the establishment of the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Center is a commendable initiative. Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that today we are all witnessing the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Center. The Chief Minister appreciated the vision and objectives of the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Charitable Center Trust. He expressed confidence that through the trust, an unprecedented and grand center will materialize here in the future. The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to all. On this occasion, CEO and MD of Tata Steel Shri T.V. Narendran, Managing Trustee of Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Charitable Center Shri S.K. Behra, Trustees Shri Manoranjan Das and Shri Sridhar Pradhan, along with a large number of dignitaries, were present.
