A Delhi court delivered a body blow to corruption charges against AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in the excise policy case, acquitting them fully on February 27.
Outside court, Kejriwal’s emotions overflowed in sobs, met by Sisodia’s reassuring hug amid flashing cameras and cheering crowds.
‘I’ve built my life on integrity alone,’ Kejriwal asserted. ‘The judge ruled us – me, Sisodia, AAP – as paragons of honesty. BJP’s liquor scam hoax is busted; all charges dropped.’
Targeting the top brass, he alleged: ‘PM Modi and Amit Shah engineered post-Independence’s largest conspiracy, jailing AAP’s core team to crush us. It was pure slander.’
He lauded the verdict: ‘Justice system shines. Truth triumphs, as we always believed. Heartfelt thanks to the judge.’ Amid national woes – price hikes, unemployment surge, dilapidated infrastructure, environmental decay – Kejriwal pressed for genuine leadership.
Sunita Kejriwal shared spiritually: ‘Even the mightiest bow to Shiv Shakti; truth endures.’
This exoneration fortifies AAP’s narrative of resilience, positioning them strongly for electoral showdowns while questioning the tactics of false prosecutions.
