Fresh off the Rouse Avenue Court’s acquittal of Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in a CBI matter, political tempers are flaring. Samajwadi Party’s Dharmendra Yadav, MP from Azamgarh, used the occasion Friday to accuse the central leadership of ruthless suppression of opposition ranks.
“The verdict is a damning indictment of the government’s oppressive playbook against rivals,” he charged. “The torment heaped on AAP must be apologized for by the powers that be.”
Yadav extended his ire to the Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand saga, probing agency neutrality. “Who pulls the strings of investigations? With CM Yogi railing against the saint publicly, impartiality evaporates—officers craft reports to match. Revered eternally as Sanatan Dharma’s guardian, his dignity is sacrosanct. We back him fully.”
In constituency updates, Yadav emphasized substance over spectacle. “Post-election, Azamgarh’s challenges have been my focus, minus publicity stunts,” he shared. “Ministerials are discreet; successes, like approval documents, get public airing promptly.”
Highlights encompassed CSD canteen greenlight from Rajnath Singh and ring road progress via Gadkari. “Mandate executed—judgment rests with Azamgarh’s populace,” he concluded. “Hyperbole is easy; real change comes from socialists, as history attests.”
This intervention amplifies opposition narratives of institutional bias, setting the stage for intensified confrontations.
