Excitement builds in West Bengal as BJP launches its ambitious ‘Parivartan Yatra’ to galvanize voters ahead of assembly elections. Leader Dilip Ghosh, addressing from Kharagpur, framed it as the people’s mandate for renewal.
In a candid chat, Ghosh affirmed, ‘Bengal seeks change; our yatra carries that torch, backed by PM Modi’s ironclad development agenda.’ Expect star-studded participation from party heavyweights across levels.
The itinerary is exhaustive: Siliguri origin point fans north to Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling; southward to Nabadweep, both 24 Parganas, Howrah-Hooghly corridor, Medinipur, Purulia, Bardhaman. All nine divisions ignite together with rallies March 1-2, main yatra March 5-10 at 100 km/day pace.
On foreign fronts, Ghosh decried Iran-Israel clashes: ‘World at war, now this amid Ramadan bloodshed – utterly deplorable. End it now.’
Back home, voter SIR drew fire at TMC: ‘Bogus voters flood their seats; we’ll scrub them out with dead names during revision,’ he charged.
This yatra transcends travel – it’s BJP’s manifesto on wheels, tackling unemployment, safety, and growth. In a state long under one-party rule, it heralds potential upheaval, drawing crowds and testing organizational might.
