Fresh escalations in the Middle East, triggered by the alleged assassination of Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei by US and Israel, have put global focus on the region. BJP’s vocal spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain updated on India’s evacuation drives for stranded citizens.
In his IANS remarks, Hussain stressed urgency. ‘We’re monitoring every Indian in conflict areas closely through our embassies. Their safe return is paramount,’ he noted. Echoing national ethos, ‘India embodies Buddha’s wisdom over warfare. With peace as our mantra, we’re protecting our Gulf compatriots from fallout.’
Hussain then pivoted to political barbs, accusing Rahul Gandhi of bullying party ranks. ‘Public threats to ‘correct’ workers with Kharge’s help? This undignified conduct from the Leader of Opposition exposes Congress’s internal rot.’
Slamming Youth Congress’s AI Summit fiasco, he called it ‘an act of disloyalty demanding scrutiny for hidden motives behind the indecency on a global stage.’
On Kejriwal’s legal woes, Hussain was scathing: ‘No amount of spectacle changes facts. Agencies can escalate to superior courts, and AAP’s Delhi regime is scandal-plagued. Kejriwal’s honesty badge is self-serving amid unanswered queries.’
In lighter vein, Hussain conveyed birthday greetings to Bihar’s Nitish Kumar, aspiring for the state to flourish further in development trajectories.
