Umrain Mahfooz Rahmani, key figure in the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, has issued a scathing rebuke to the US and Israel after their airstrikes felled Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In remarks from Malegaon, he framed the incident as peak aggression, exacerbated by Israel’s unceasing attacks on Gaza and Palestinian lands, casting shadows over global harmony.
‘Denounce these deeds loudly—peace, not strife, is our collective aspiration,’ Rahmani urged. He branded the Iranian incursion as indefensible hubris, rooted in disregard for borders. The world must reject such impunity to foster genuine calm.
To the Islamic ummah, Khamenei’s martyrdom is a seismic jolt. Rahmani praised his valiant end, interpreting it as a profound Islamic directive: unyielding posture against subjugation. ‘Through death, he gifted strength to us all,’ Rahmani shared, voicing communal condolences.
In this context, Rahmani evoked the timeless good-evil dichotomy, stressing proactive measures for protection. Threats abound from those eager to capitalize on vulnerabilities, making safeguarding paramount.
Iran’s leadership has instituted 40 days of mourning. Per Fars News Agency sources, the strikes also eliminated Khamenei’s daughter, grandson, son-in-law, and one more kin, compounding the profound loss felt nationwide.
