Entering the AI epoch, Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series fortifies privacy, handing users the reins on their data. In New Delhi, JB Park, Samsung Southwest Asia President and CEO, unveiled these advancements on Tuesday, spotlighting India’s AI fervor.
Central to the Galaxy S26 Ultra is the integrated Privacy Display, revolutionizing screen security. It preserves everyday clarity while obscuring side views, with customizable regions and triggers for ultimate control.
Park praised India’s R&D in Bengaluru and Noida for shaping the series, now built at the Noida facility. He called it ‘the first of its kind, launching smartphone privacy into a new phase.’
AI considerations drove upgrades: on-device personal context handling locks data in, AI agents operate under strict user consent for any sharing.
Core app-AI interactions allow vetoing data for training or promotions. Privacy Alerts proactively warn of app encroachments on admin functions or sensitive info like precise GPS or contact lists.
‘Our AI follows your lead, barred from mischief or fakery,’ Park assured. Third-generation Galaxy AI excels in contextual smarts and task aids, with minimal data reach.
Knox enforces across-the-board security: data stays device-bound, shared judiciously, ad-prohibited. Pre-book in India from ₹87,999 (S26), ₹1,19,999 (Plus), ₹1,39,999 (Ultra).
