Amid the sacred rituals at Gorakhnath Temple, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on March 4 proclaimed Holi as an emblem of unity, thrill, and delight, viable only in secure, harmonious environs. Addressing media, he noted, ‘True festivity blooms where peace and trust abound—hallmarks of today’s Uttar Pradesh and India.’
Reflecting on ancestral wisdom, Yogi admired the unbroken chain of Holi traditions upheld by Rishis and now passionately continued. ‘From every stratum, Sanatanis are partaking in bliss, dissolving enmities to forge accord,’ he said.
Holika Dahan rituals at more than 161,000 sites statewide concluded smoothly, commemorating Vishnu’s Narsimha form that crushes anarchy and uplifts the noble. ‘Divine incarnations in every epoch motivate us to emulate Prahlad’s devotion or Arjun’s duty, overpowering darkness with light,’ Yogi elaborated.
He credited PM Narendra Modi’s vision for India’s ascent as a developed, Atmanirbhar nation, honoring heritage while innovating boldly in this freedom’s Amrit Kaal. With Holi blessings for all, the CM aspired for endless waves of such unified revelry.
