A thrilling chase ended in triumph for Delhi Police’s Crime Branch WR-II unit, who captured Krishna Rathore Kana, a high-value target in the ganja trafficking ecosystem, from Uttam Nagar. The bust highlights proactive policing amid rising drug concerns in Delhi-NCR.
Court records show Rathore was proclaimed an offender by Special NDPS Judge at Dwarka on February 20, 2026, tied to ganja supply offenses. On March 5, a tip sparked a rapid response from SI Kuldeep Singh’s team, who encircled Om Vihar Phase-1 and seized the fugitive.
Guided by Inspector Gautam Malik, the squad—SI Kuldeep Singh, Head Constable Pawan Hooda, Bhavar, Constables Mukesh, and Tinku—overcame the accused’s slippery tactics of dodging capture through hideout hopping.
Rathore’s interrogation painted a picture of organized crime: he was entrenched in a gang managing ganja flows across Delhi-NCR. From Kannauj roots, with basic schooling up to 10th standard in UP, family settlement in Uttam Nagar exposed him to nefarious influences.
The promise of easy money fueled his descent into trafficking. Police have mobilized a task force to pursue his network, vowing total elimination. This pivotal arrest hampers interstate drug conduits, fortifying Delhi’s defenses against narcotics proliferation and inspiring continued vigilance.
