Nationwide celebrations for Jan Aushadhi Day spotlighted the power of generic drugs in making healthcare inclusive. Leaders including Nitin Gadkari, Yogi Adityanath, Pankaj Chaudhary, and Mohan Yadav extended congratulations, applauding PM Narendra Modi’s Janaushadhi scheme as a savior for low-income groups.
Gadkari’s X post captured the essence: ‘PM Modi’s vision ensures poor get quality medicines 50-90% cheaper, while creating jobs pan-India.’ This holistic approach addresses health and employment, marking a milestone in social welfare.
Yogi Adityanath, in his message, celebrated the kendras’ role. ‘Thanks to PM Modi’s foresight, generics of top quality reach the masses affordably,’ he posted on X. He called it the ‘sankat ki saathi’ (crisis companion) for the poor, underpinning a stronger, healthier nation.
Pankaj Chaudhary provided stats: 18,660+ centers offer 2,110 medicines and 315 surgical essentials under PM guidance. ‘Affordable care is every Indian’s right, a financial boon for families,’ he emphasized online.
MP CM Mohan Yadav wished health and prosperity, hailing the low-cost drugs as a ‘varadan’ (boon). ‘Treatment is now possible for the needy,’ he added.
The day’s fervor reflects PMBJP’s impact—curbing inflated prices, expanding access, and fostering self-reliance in pharmaceuticals. As it grows, the scheme promises to redefine healthcare equity, with political backing signaling deeper investments ahead.
