Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Samriddhi Yatra reached Purnea on Thursday, where he unleashed a development avalanche by greenlighting 92 projects at a whopping Rs 485 crore.
The portfolio included 84 inaugurations (Rs 164 crore) and eight foundation stones (Rs 321 crore), spanning roads, temples, and agri-centers to catalyze local momentum.
At Maa Puran Devi Temple, Kumar evaluated redevelopment strides, remotely activating the SH 60-to-temple two-laner and key path upgrades through bustling markets.
The Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali flagship impressed with pond rejuvenation works. Welcomed by rhythmic Jhijhia troupes, he also praised Bihar Bal Bhawan Kilかり’s creative stall.
Diving into earlier Prakriti Yatra commitments, he probed progress reports and toured the district Dairy, Fisheries, and Livestock facility, sharing insights with on-ground practitioners.
Reaffirming priorities, Kumar noted, ‘Agriculture and animal husbandry schemes are pivotal for financial upliftment.’ To farmers: ‘Pursue goals ambitiously; we’re with you every step.’
Stalls from multiple sectors illustrated Bihar’s welfare ecosystem. This high-impact visit cements Purnea’s role in the state’s rising trajectory.
