  • CG NEWS: Molestation and assault on a nurse, police arrested the accused

    Sudeep Upadhyay, Balrampur. A case of molestation and assault on a nurse has come to light in the district. In Gram Panchayat Bhadar of Rajpur police station area, a young man molested and assaulted a woman working as a nurse in the Chief Minister Haat Bazaar Clinic vehicle and obstructed government work. Rajpur police registered a report in the matter on the complaint of the nurse. While taking action, the accused has been arrested.

    According to the information received from the police, the victim nurse is posted as RHO in CHC Rajpur. The duty of the nurse is to visit the Chief Minister Haat Bazaar Clinic, treat people and distribute medicines. In this series, this nurse was distributing medicines in village Sewari and Bhadar, when a young man named Brahmadev molested the nurse and even tore her clothes. The accused has been arrested in the case.

    Prime Minister on his social media ‘X’ urged the eligible voters to perform their duty to strengthen the democracy. He called upon the citizens across the 96 constituencies to vote in large numbers.

    He wrote, “In today’s 4th Phase of the Lok Sabha elections, 96 seats across 10 States and UTs are going to the polls. I am sure people in these constituencies will vote in large numbers and the young voters as well as women voters will power this surge in voting. Come, let’s all do our duty and strengthen our democracy!”

  • Russia-Ukraine War: Putin Reshuffles Defense Ministry Amid Gains In Kyiv | world news

    Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday night replaced the current defense minister, Sergei Shoigu, with Andrey Belousov amid Moscow achieving advancements against Kyiv at the warfront, CNN reported.

    Following his dismissal from the position of defense minister, Shoigu has been made secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and will act as Putin’s deputy in the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation.

    As per ANI’s report, “Sergei Shoigu was relieved of his post as Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation by presidential decree and was also appointed by decree of the President of the Russian Federation as Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation,” Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.

    The spokesperson further added that the decision to appoint Belousov is linked to the necessity of incorporating the economy of the security sector into the nation’s economy. Peskov said that the budget of the Russian military department has almost reached the level of the 1980s. He emphasized that although this is not critical, it is significant.

    Belousov, assuming his role at a critical moment, has a diverse professional background, which includes being Russia’s former first deputy Prime Minister. The 65-year-old has also served as an aide to President Vladimir Putin on economic matters, as the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, as the Director of the Department of Economics and Finance of the Russian Government, as the General Director of the Center for Macroeconomic Analysis and Short-Term Forecasting, and he also worked at the Russian Academy from 1981 to 2006 (until 1991, it was the USSR Academy of Sciences), as reported by ANI citing TASS.

    As per the report, the position of the rest of the heads of security ministers and services remains unchanged.

    The Russia-Ukraine War started in 2022 on February 24 and has entered its third year.

    Homegrown IT software company Zoho’s CEO Sridhar Vembu agreed with Aggarwal, saying “We in India have to strongly resist this woke imperialism”. “It is best understood as a fanatical religious doctrine that masquerades as a socio-political movement,” Vembu posted on X social media platform.

    Edtech company Unacademy CEO Gaurav Munjal earlier posted that this is so “f***** up on LinkedIn’s part”. An angry Ola CEO on Saturday announced the termination of Microsoft Azure cloud’s services and moved the entire workload of his company to his own AI venture called Krutrim.   • Pro-Khalistan Slogans Appear On the Wall Of Delhi Metro Station, Police Registers FIR |

    New Delhi: Pro-Khalistan graffiti and slogans were found on the pillars of Karol Bagh and Jhandewalan metro stations of Delhi on Sunday. The police have lodged an FIR in the case and collected CCTV footage from the concerned Metro Station from the authorities for investigation.

    Reportedly, the slogans were written by Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) supporters. SJF is a banned Sikh separatist group based in the United States.

    A security guard working in the building near the Karol Bagh Metro station informed that he noticed something written on the pillars of the metro station with black paint.  

    “I came to duty at 8 am and saw that something was written in black colour on the pillars of the metro station. A huge crowd had gathered there and was reading the slogans,” Bajrangi, the security guard, security guard while said speaking to ANI.

    “These slogans may have been written at night because no one was there at that time and no one saw who wrote these slogans,” he added.

    Earlier, similar incidents were reported in Delhi’s Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area after which the Police arrested a man for his alleged involvement in making pro-Khalistani graffiti on walls

    Meanwhile, last year August, the police apprehended two people from Punjab in connection with pro-Khalistan slogans written on the wall of Delhi metro stations.
