The Citroen Aircross SUV has been awarded a full 5-star safety rating following the Bharat NCAP crash test. The 5-seater model, equipped with a 1.2L petrol-automatic engine, underwent rigorous testing. The vehicle excelled, securing 27.05 points out of 32 for adult protection and an impressive 40 out of 49 for child safety. The safety rating encompasses all Aircross SUV variants. The SUV demonstrated strong performance in frontal and side impact scenarios, achieving 11.05 out of 16 and a perfect 16 out of 16, respectively. Protection levels for the driver and front passenger ranged from ‘marginal’ to ‘good’ for various body regions. While the side pole impact test result was satisfactory, the Aircross excelled in dynamic tests (24/24) and CRS installation (12/12). The vehicle assessment, however, yielded a score of 4 out of 13.
