Bajaj Auto’s sales figures for August 2025 indicate a positive trend, with the company selling a total of 4,17,616 units. This represents an increase of over 5% when compared to the 3,97,804 units sold in August 2024. Furthermore, sales were up from July 2025, when the company reported sales of 3,66,000 units.
Despite the overall sales growth, domestic sales experienced a downturn. Domestic sales for Bajaj in August 2025 decreased by 8% to 2,32,398 units, compared to 2,53,827 units in August 2024. The two-wheeler segment specifically showed this decline, with domestic sales down 12% to 1,84,109 units.
Exports played a crucial role in boosting the company’s sales. Bajaj Auto’s exports in August 2025 reached 1,85,218 units, marking a 29% increase from the 1,43,977 units exported in the previous year. The two-wheeler exports witnessed particularly strong performance, climbing to 1,57,778 units, reflecting a 25% increase.
The commercial vehicle sector proved resilient in August 2025. Domestic sales in this segment increased by 7%, reaching 48,289 units. Exports saw even greater success, rising by 58% to 27,440 units.
This resulted in a 21% increase in overall CV segment sales, totaling 75,729 units. Overall, August 2025 highlighted that while the domestic market faced difficulties, global demand is fostering growth for Bajaj Auto.
From April to August 2025, the company sold 18,94,853 units, which is over a 2% increase compared to the 18,54,029 units from the same period last year. Domestic sales decreased by 9% to 10,50,349 units. However, exports showed a 21% increase during this time.
