The passenger’s ordeal began shortly after the flight took off; they were unable to open the restroom door due to a malfunction. The crew attempted to assist but were unsuccessful. They then penned a note to the trapped passenger, assuring them and advising them to remain in place until the plane landed. The Mumbai-Bengaluru flight was delayed by two hours, taking off at 2:10 AM. After the plane touched down in Bengaluru at around 3:45 AM, ground staff were able to open the door.
