Citroen is set to launch its Basalt X range in India, with pre-bookings now open. Customers can book the car by paying a booking amount of 11,000 rupees at dealerships or via the official website. The Basalt X is part of Citroen’s “New 2.0 Change” strategy. The C3X, already launched, is based on the standard C3 and includes new features. The Citroën C3X features proxy-sense passive entry, push start system, and hands-free access. Additional features include cruise control with speed limiter, HALO 360-degree camera system (offering seven viewing angles), auto-dimming rearview mirror, LED projector headlamps, projector fog lamps, LED DRLs, and LED cabin lighting. The interior features a leather-finished instrument panel and a 10.25-inch Citroen Connect touchscreen, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also incorporates rear USB Type-C charging ports, six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ABS with EBD, Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX mounts, TPMS, and a high-speed alert system.
