The Mahindra Vision S concept SUV has been unveiled, showcasing a fresh design direction for the brand. The vehicle’s design suggests its integration within the Mahindra Scorpio lineup. Alongside the Vision S, Mahindra also presented the Vision X, T, and SXT concepts. The exterior design of the Vision S stands out with its LED headlights, an LED-enhanced grille, and the iconic twin peaks logo. The front bumper includes radar and parking sensors. Unique features include roof-mounted lights and pixel-shaped fog lamps. The SUV is equipped with thick cladding and rides on 19-inch wheels. Side-mounted cameras are used instead of conventional mirrors. The rear design includes inverted tail lamps, a reflector unit reminiscent of the Bolero Neo, and a spare wheel with Vision S branding. The interior features a redesigned layout with a steering wheel with VISION S lettering, a fully digital driver’s display, and an infotainment screen that’s expected to run Mahindra’s new NU UX system with wireless smartphone connectivity. The cabin incorporates dual-tone upholstery, redesigned door trims, premium seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The Vision S is built on the NU-IQ platform, which is compatible with various powertrains, including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric. It is designed to fit SUVs ranging from 3,990 mm to 4,320 mm in length, and can support front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. It is expected that the Vision S will have an ICE version featuring either a 1.2-litre turbo petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
