Renault plans to launch the Duster Hybrid in early 2026. The Bigster, a seven-seater version, will be revealed within a year of the Duster’s release. The Duster’s production will commence at the Renault Nissan plant in Chennai. The initial launch will feature a petrol engine, with turbo-petrol versions to follow. Internationally, the Duster is available with a 1.6-liter petrol engine paired with electric motors, offering a combined output of around 140Hp. The Duster and Bigster will utilize the CMF-B platform, designed for flexibility across various powertrain options. Renault’s emphasis on CNG and hybrid technologies reflects its commitment to meeting India’s fuel demands.
