Royal Enfield’s venture into the electric vehicle market continues with the development of an electric Himalayan, the Him-E. The motorcycle was seen undergoing testing in Ladakh, suggesting that its release may be imminent. This sighting follows the unveiling of the electric model at the 2023 EICMA show in Milan. The test units appear to be near production. The bike features several unique elements, including a redesigned seat, battery placement where the engine usually sits, and a sizable tank that may function as an air duct. It also features an Ohlins Monoshock at the rear, Nissin petal disc brakes, an aluminum frame, and an elevated ECU Master display. Royal Enfield has not yet confirmed any details about the official launch of the electric Himalayan.
