The tax rates on vehicles, which were previously between 28-31 percent and 43-50 percent, have been reduced to 18-40 percent. Maruti Suzuki has called this a golden opportunity for customers. The effect is clear: daily inquiries have risen to 80,000, compared to the usual 40,000-45,000. Moreover, bookings have reached 18,000 per day.
