Kia Launches Festive Offers with Pre-GST Savings, Discounts Up to ₹2.25 Lakh

Kia India is enhancing the festive season for its customers with the introduction of pre-GST savings and festive offers on selected models. These offers allow buyers to save a significant amount, with potential savings reaching up to ₹2.25 lakh. The offers are time-sensitive, expiring on September 22, 2025, ahead of the implementation of the new GST 2.0 regulations. The savings available to customers will vary depending on the dealership location. For example, in Kerala, customers can benefit from savings of up to ₹2.25 lakh on the Kia Seltos. The Carens Clavis, recently launched, offers discounts of up to ₹1.55 lakh in Tamil Nadu. Moreover, the standard Kia Carens MPV is also included in the offer, providing savings of up to ₹1.30 lakh, consisting of a pre-GST discount of up to ₹58,000 and festive benefits that can reach ₹1.67 lakh. The company has emphasized its commitment to transferring the advantages of the new GST 2.0 tax structure to the public. The GST Council recently introduced adjustments to streamline the tax framework for the automotive sector, establishing two main tax brackets of 5% and 18% for vehicles. Furthermore, a special tax of 40% has been designated for luxury cars, SUVs, and motorcycles with engines exceeding 350cc. An important development is the complete removal of the compensation cess. These reforms have facilitated Kia in providing price reductions of up to ₹4.48 lakh on its models, making vehicle purchases more economical for consumers during the festive period.
