KTM RC 490: A New Engine and Possible CFMoto Partnership?

New test images show the development of a new RC model. The bike appears to be close to production. There’s speculation that the engine for the KTM RC 490 may come from CFMoto, along with the chassis, according to reports. The design of the exhaust pipes on the test model closely matches those of a CFMoto bike. The engine layout differs significantly from other previously spotted KTM prototypes, reinforcing the possibility of a new RC 490 model. The current RC 390’s engine has not received an update, making a new power plant for the next-generation RC a possibility.
