A passenger on a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru faced an unexpected ordeal when they became trapped in the aircraft’s lavatory. The door jammed shortly after takeoff, leaving the passenger confined for the entire flight. Despite attempts by the crew to rectify the situation, the door remained locked. The crew then penned a note to the stranded passenger, providing reassurance and instructions to stay put until the plane landed in Bengaluru. After the flight landed, ground staff were able to open the door. The airline has offered apologies and a refund. Images of the note shared on social media quickly gained traction, sparking amusement and comments on the handwriting. The flight itself was delayed, departing Mumbai two hours behind schedule.
