A SpiceJet passenger on a flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru faced an unsettling experience when they became locked inside the airplane’s restroom mid-flight. After the aircraft departed Mumbai, the restroom door malfunctioned, trapping the passenger. Despite efforts from the crew to resolve the issue, the passenger remained confined throughout the journey. The crew improvised by passing a note under the door to calm the passenger. After the plane landed in Bengaluru, the door was forcibly opened by ground staff. The event has drawn considerable attention online, with many users sharing and commenting on the situation. SpiceJet has issued an apology and offered a refund to the affected passenger.
