Mahindra SUV Prices Slashed: Thar, XUV700, and Scorpio-N Among Models Affected

Mahindra has implemented price reductions across a range of its SUV models, a move prompted by the latest GST reforms. The price cuts, potentially reaching Rs 2.56 lakh, affect vehicles such as the Bolero/Neo, XUV 3XO, Thar, Scorpio Classic, Scorpio-N, Thar Roxx, and XUV700. The most recent adjustments offer additional savings of up to Rs 1.29 lakh. These price reductions are applicable solely to Mahindra’s internal combustion engine vehicles. This follows an earlier price cut on September 6th for a selection of passenger vehicles, including the Bolero, Bolero Neo, Thar 2WD, Thar 4WD, Scorpio-N, and Thar Roxx, with reductions of up to Rs 1.56 lakh. The GST framework changes have resulted in alterations in taxation for different vehicle categories and auto components. Notably, small cars now have a lower GST rate, while bigger vehicles and two-wheelers above 350cc face adjustments.
