Maruti Suzuki experienced a 27.5% increase in retail sales in September 2025 compared to the previous year. The company anticipates surpassing 2 lakh deliveries soon. A primary driver of the sales surge is the recent implementation of GST 2.0, which reduced taxes on petrol, petrol-hybrid, LPG, and CNG vehicles from 28% to 18%, making cars more affordable and accessible. The company is implementing 7-day-a-week operations in their factories to keep up with the pace of customer demand.
