Maruti Suzuki has started exporting the e-Vitara, with over 2,900 units shipped to Europe in the previous month. These vehicles were sent to twelve European nations including the UK, Germany, and France, among others, from the Pipavav port in Gujarat. The e-Vitara is being manufactured at Maruti Suzuki’s Hansalpur factory. The commencement of e-Vitara exports to Europe represents a significant milestone for the company. The company aims to export the model to more than 100 countries globally, while also making it available in the Indian market. Total exports for Maruti Suzuki in August rose by 40 percent, reaching 36,538 units, a substantial increase from the 26,003 units exported in August of the preceding year. The e-Vitara’s launch in Europe marks a strategic move into a competitive electric vehicle market.
