Maruti Suzuki to Launch Multiple Hybrid Models by 2029

Following the Fronx, the next-generation Maruti Baleno is slated to receive the new hybrid system. A new sub-4 meter MPV from Maruti is also in the pipeline. The new Baleno will feature significant design and interior updates alongside the petrol-hybrid engine. The upcoming compact MPV may be based on the Suzuki Spacia, currently sold in Japan. Both models could launch in 2026. By 2026, Maruti will offer three types of hybrid technology: mild hybrid, its own strong hybrid, and the hybrid system sourced from Toyota.
