The Maruti Victoris SUV, set to be released, is packed with advanced features and is targeted towards both young buyers and families. This new flagship SUV from Maruti will feature ADAS (Autonomous Driver Assistance System), which will include functions like automatic braking, lane keeping, and collision avoidance.
Other features will include a Dolby Atmos audio system. The vehicle has also received a 5-star safety rating from the Bharat NCAP, making it one of the safest Maruti vehicles. The Victoris will be offered in petrol, petrol-hybrid, and CNG engine options.
**Booking and Anticipated Launch**
Bookings are already open for the Maruti Victoris SUV for ₹11,000, though the official launch date is not yet announced. The company is aiming to launch the SUV around the Navratri festival (September 22nd to October 2nd) to take advantage of the forthcoming festive season. The car is anticipated to hit showrooms before Diwali.
**Variant Breakdown**
The Victoris SUV will be available in six trim levels: LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI (O), ZXI+, and ZXI+ (O). The base LXI variant will include a 7-inch touchscreen, a 4.2-inch driver information display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a voice assistant, a Type A front USB charger, push-button start/stop, a smart key, a pollen air filter, auto AC, rear AC vents, six airbags, ABS with brake assist, an electronic stability program, hill hold assist, a tire repair kit, Isofix child seat anchors, and three-point seatbelts for all passengers.
At an estimated price point of around ₹10 lakh, the base variant provides a budget-friendly option, albeit with some premium features omitted.
**Safety and Advanced Features**
The higher ZXI+ variants come equipped with Level-2 ADAS, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front ventilated seats, four speakers, a head-up display, two Type-C front USB chargers, terrain mode (AWD), and 17-inch alloy wheels. The ZXi+ (O) trim also includes a panoramic sunroof. As these are fully-loaded variants, they will be priced higher, around ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom). Those with the budget for it will find the ZXI+ and ZXI+ (O) variants the best choice.
**Value Proposition**
The value-for-money variant will be determined once pricing is official. The Maruti Victoris ZXI appears to be a solid option, offering a large 10.25-inch driver display, black-ivory interior upholstery, an automatic IRVM, blacked-out 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, DRLs, and fog lamps, along with the features in the lower trims.
