Maruti Suzuki’s Hybrid and New Car Plans Unveiled

Maruti Suzuki India is planning an aggressive launch strategy that includes electric and hybrid vehicles alongside other new cars. Rumors suggest a new compact MPV or SUV is in the works, possibly with a hybrid powertrain to compete in the small car segment. The Wagon R could receive an update to refresh its image. The EWX, a small SUV-inspired EV concept, could also be considered for launch. Furthermore, Maruti Suzuki is developing a hybrid Fronx, which has been seen during testing. A 5-seater SUV to challenge the Kia Sonet is also in the pipeline, with the expectation that it will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain. The Fronx Hybrid is a strong contender for the next release.
