The Indian automotive market is set to welcome a series of new SUVs as manufacturers aim to capitalize on rising sales. Among the upcoming releases are the Tata Punch facelift and the next-generation Hyundai Venue. The Tata Punch is due for a mid-life refresh, with enhancements to the bumpers and interior features. Test mules suggest that the updated Punch will include a larger infotainment screen and a two-spoke steering wheel. The engine is expected to remain the same, including the 1.2-liter petrol and CNG variants. The new Hyundai Venue is expected to be influenced by design elements from the Alcazar and Creta models. The new Venue’s interior will also receive upgrades. Both manual and automatic transmission options will be available, powered by 1.2L naturally aspirated, 1.0L turbocharged petrol, and 1.5L diesel engines. Tata Motors also plans to release petrol variants of the Harrier and Safari by the end of 2025, equipped with a new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine.
