A SpiceJet passenger’s journey from Mumbai to Bengaluru took an unexpected turn when he became stuck in the aircraft’s lavatory throughout the flight. The airline has issued an apology and offered a refund. The incident occurred on a flight that departed from Mumbai two hours behind schedule. Shortly after takeoff, the passenger, seated in row 14D, entered the restroom. Unfortunately, the door became jammed, trapping him inside. Despite efforts by the crew to unlock the door, it remained stuck. The crew then communicated with the passenger through a handwritten note, asking him to stay seated on the toilet until the flight landed in Bengaluru. The note and the situation quickly gained attention on social media, with many people finding humor in the situation. The flight landed in Bengaluru around 3:45 AM. Ground staff subsequently opened the door. The airline has since expressed its regret for the incident.
