A SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru became the scene of an unusual incident when a passenger found themselves trapped in the lavatory for the duration of the flight. After the door jammed, the passenger remained confined to the restroom until the plane landed. The airline later apologized and reportedly offered a refund. The flight, which departed with a delay of two hours, faced this issue shortly after takeoff. Unable to unlock the door, the crew opted to slip a note under it to keep the passenger calm, instructing them to stay put until arrival. The incident prompted amusement and social media commentary. After the plane landed in Bengaluru, ground staff were able to open the malfunctioning door. The airline has since apologized for the unfortunate experience.
