Car enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to in September 2025. The month promises a series of new car launches, with the anticipation building before the festive season. Approximately five new cars are expected to debut, making it a significant period for the automotive market. Maruti will initiate the launches, followed by the introduction of VinFast vehicles. Below are the cars anticipated for release in September 2025.
Maruti Escudo
Maruti is set to launch a new made-in-India SUV, designed to fit between the Brezza and Grand Vitara models. It will be available through Arena showrooms. Potential names for the vehicle include Escudo, Victorious, or Saber. The SUV may be built on Suzuki’s Global C platform, with modifications for an extended wheelbase and increased cabin space.
VinFast VF6
VinFast, the Vietnamese EV company, will enter the Indian market with the VF6. Production has recently commenced at VinFast’s plant in Tamil Nadu. The VF6 SUV will be available in two variants, offering a choice of six colors and two interior themes that vary based on the specific variant.
VinFast VF7
Alongside the VF6, VinFast will also launch the VF7, another electric SUV. These models were initially showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in early 2025. The VF7 will be offered in three variants, featuring six exterior color options and two interior themes.
Mahindra Thar Facelift
The Mahindra Thar 3-door model, launched in 2020, has seen only minor updates. However, a facelift with new features is planned for September 2025. The updated Thar will incorporate design elements similar to the Thar Rocks, including circular LED headlights and new alloy wheels. Expect enhancements such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, a 10.25-inch full-digital driver display, six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and TPMS.
