A passenger on a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru endured an unexpected ordeal when they were trapped in the aircraft’s restroom for the duration of the flight. The door malfunctioned shortly after takeoff, leading to the passenger’s confinement. The crew attempted to assist but were unable to open the door. They resorted to providing reassurance via a note slipped under the door, instructing the passenger to stay put. Upon landing in Bengaluru, the door was eventually forced open by ground staff. The airline has issued an apology and addressed the incident. Social media users reacted with amusement to the unusual situation.
