Tesla is set to broaden its footprint in India by inaugurating its second showroom after establishing its first in Mumbai. The upcoming showroom is slated to open in Delhi, the nation’s capital. Invitations have been dispatched, and the opening is expected within the coming week. The initial Tesla experience center was introduced in Mumbai about a month ago, coinciding with the launch of the first charging station. This expansion signifies Tesla’s commitment to extend its services.
Location of the Delhi Tesla Showroom
According to a Moneycontrol report, Tesla, led by Elon Musk, has begun sending out invitations for the opening of its second showroom in New Delhi, with the grand opening scheduled for August 11th. The Tesla Experience Center will be situated in the Worldmark 3 building in Aerocity, close to the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
Recently, Utsav Techie, a YouTube content creator, showcased images of the under-construction Tesla Experience Center in New Delhi, highlighting a white interior and glass doors. However, Tesla has yet to officially confirm the opening date or the exact location of the new experience center in the city.
Tesla Cars India: Models and Specifications
Tesla has introduced the Model Y in the Indian market. It offers two variants, RWD (60kWh/75kWh). The 60kWh variant provides a range of 500 kilometers on a single charge and is priced at 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The RWD (75kWh) variant, on the other hand, allows a range of 622 kilometers per full charge, although it will cost 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the RWD Model Y are projected to begin in Q3 2025, with the long-range variant deliveries anticipated in Q4 2025.
