Tesla is reinforcing its position in India’s electric vehicle market with the upcoming launch of its second retail centre. The new Tesla Experience Centre will open on August 11 at the WorldMark 3 campus in Aerocity, Delhi, providing services to customers in the National Capital Region, a critical region in India’s EV expansion. This expansion follows the opening of the first showroom at Maker Maxity Mall in Mumbai on July 15. The Mumbai launch was attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who expressed enthusiasm for Tesla’s entry and encouraged the company to consider setting up research and development and manufacturing facilities. The Aerocity center is under construction, with an estimated monthly rent of approximately Rs 25 lakh. Social media posts have already highlighted the premium appeal of the brand. Tesla currently offers the Model Y in India, starting at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
