July 2025 witnessed significant activity in the Indian car market. Maruti Suzuki continued to lead, selling 1.37 lakh vehicles, with sales remaining consistent with the previous year. Mahindra secured second place, achieving a notable 19.8% increase compared to July 2024, selling 49,871 units. Hyundai took third place, selling 43,973 units, but experienced a 10.3% decrease in sales compared to the previous year. Tata Motors secured the fourth position, with sales of 39,521 units, while Toyota rounded out the top five, selling 29,159 units. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire was the most popular car for Maruti Suzuki. Mahindra’s Scorpio led its sales figures. Hyundai’s Creta and Toyota’s Innova were their respective bestsellers, contributing significantly to their overall sales numbers.
