TVS Motor Company will launch its NTORQ 150 scooter on September 4, 2025. The upcoming scooter will feature a new front design, including a quad-LED headlamp cluster and a T-shaped housing, as revealed in a recent teaser. While the 125cc version serves as a design basis, the new 150cc scooter could incorporate changes such as larger wheels to distinguish it. The NTORQ 150 is also expected to include a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and single-channel ABS.
Engine specifications for the NTORQ 150 have not yet been released, but anticipation points towards a fresh engine. The scooter is slated to compete with models like the Hero Xoom 160 and Yamaha Aerox 155, with an anticipated starting price around Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Parallel to this, TVS has also recently introduced its third electric scooter, the Orbiter, in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 99,900, the Orbiter aims to rival the Ather Rizta, offering a 3.1kWh battery pack and an electric motor capable of delivering a 158 km range. It is equipped with features such as connected technology, the TVS Smart ZONECT app, OTA updates, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, an instrument cluster, and USB charging.
The Orbiter features include 14-inch front and 12-inch rear alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tires, a ground clearance of 165 mm, and a 34-liter under-seat storage compartment. Design elements include a large LED headlight, an LED taillight bar, LED turn indicators, a small windscreen, a straight-line footboard, a wide handlebar, an easy-access box, and a USB charging port. The new electric scooter is available in six color options: Martian Copper, Lunar Grey, Stratos Blue, Cosmic Titanium, Neon Sunburst, and Stellar Silver.
